Carlos M. del Pozo
Carlos served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army after commissioning from ROTC at Princeton University. He graduated first in his class at Infantry
Officer Basic Course and completed U.S. Army Ranger School. While deployed to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division he earned commendations for combat valor and meritorious leadership as a
Rifle Platoon Leader and Scout Platoon Leader. After returning to the United States he served as the Logistics Officer for his Battalion before transitioning into the Army Reserves to
attend business school.
Carlos graduated from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University with an MBA and earned an AB from Princeton University.
Seán D. Ketterick
Sean has spent most of his adult life in uniform as an officer in the United States Air Force. His service includes five years of active duty after commissioning from the US Air Force Academy and two years in the Air National Guard. While on active duty, Sean gained extensive operational and leadership skills as a hospital administrator. He served in the US and Italy in four functional areas including financial management, managed care, emergency management, and group practice management while also attaining his board certification from the American Academy of Medical Administrators.
Sean graduated from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University with an MBA and earned a BS in Management from the Air Force Academy where he graduated first in his major.
Cody joined Guardian Growth Fund after working as a consultant developing strategies for startups to improve customer acquisition and operations. While earning his bachelor's degree, Cody worked as a Hedge Fund Summer Analyst at Quantedge Capital in Manhattan. Cody also managed a mutually funded portfolio that returned more than 10 times invested capital.
Cody earned his bachelor's degree in Finance from Marist College. From 5:30-8am, Cody may be found rowing on the Potomac River.
Prior to joining Guardian Growth Fund, Preston Perez was a Venture Capital intern at Blossom Street Ventures, where he focused on mid-staged ventures with leading series A/B equity rounds. Preston is known for his attention to detail and his enthusiasm for witnessing companies’ grow through strategic initiatives. During his free time, he enjoys long-distance running and the occasional family cookout.
Preston is a rising 3rd year student in the McIntire School of Commerce at The University of Virginia. He is currently pursuing a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance.
